Naijathread - Terms of Service

Welcome to Naijathread!

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the rules and conditions for the use of the Naijathread application and website, located at www.naijathread.xyz.

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms. Do not use Naijathread if you do not agree to all of the Terms stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all related agreements: “Client,” “You,” and “Your” refer to you, the user of the Service. “The Company,” “Ourselves,” “We,” “Our,” and “Us” refer to [Insert Company Legal Name Here]. All terms refer to the legal contract between you and us.

1. User Eligibility and Account Responsibility

Age Requirement: The Service is only available to users who are at least 13 years old. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. User-Generated Content (UGC) and License

Your Content: You are solely responsible for all content (text, images, videos, links, etc.) that you post, upload, or share on the Service (“Your Content”).

Ownership & License Grant: You retain ownership of Your Content. However, by posting, you grant Naijathread a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute Your Content for operating and promoting the Service.

Your Responsibilities: You warrant that Your Content complies with laws, does not violate third-party rights, and adheres to our Community Guidelines (see Section 3).

3. Prohibited Conduct and Community Rules

You must not use the Service to upload, post, or distribute any content that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading.
  • Is harassing, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or harmful.
  • Infringes on intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Promotes violence, discrimination, or unlawful acts.
  • Constitutes Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) (see Section 4).

We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any content violating these rules and to terminate accounts immediately.

4. Zero-Tolerance Policy on CSAE

Naijathread maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for any content or activity involving Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including grooming.

Any user found engaging in or promoting CSAE will face immediate permanent suspension and be reported to law enforcement (including NCMEC).

We cooperate fully with authorities. Report any suspected CSAE content via our in-app reporting tools or support@naijathread.xyz.

5. Intellectual Property (Naijathread’s Property)

Unless otherwise stated, Naijathread and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on the Service (excluding Your Content). All rights are reserved.

You must not, without our prior written consent:

  • Republish, sell, rent, or sub-license material from Naijathread.
  • Reproduce, duplicate, or copy design or underlying code from the Service.
  • Redistribute Naijathread content in bulk (e.g., scraping or data mining).

6. Content Liability and Indemnity

We are not responsible for user content (UGC). We act as a passive conduit for its distribution and display.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from Your Content, including defamation or IP infringement.

7. Termination and Reservation of Rights

Reservation of Rights: We reserve the right to remove links, restrict access, or modify these Terms at any time.

Termination: We may terminate or suspend your account immediately without notice for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases immediately.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions relating to the Service. The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

Nothing in this disclaimer will limit or exclude:

  • Liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
  • Liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Liabilities not permitted to be excluded under applicable law.

As long as the Service and its content are provided free of charge, we are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind.

9. Governing Law
